Beam me up Scotty!
In 1804 German Sociologist Max Weber wrote one of the most important works of the 20th Century.
The Protestant Ethic and the Spirit of Capitalism was translated into English in 1930, when the socialist democracy interventionist central planning something for nothing wealth redistribution ideas of Keynes and Norman Thomas were being appropriated by FDR and his advisers and forced on American Citizens, Congresses and Courts.
Many academics and pseudo-academics in modern mainstream corporate monopoly media still genuflect to the shibboleth that central planning, moar debt and war got US out of the Great Depression.
Rather, they prolonged a three-year depression into a thirty year generational mess with dollar devaluation and price controls.
FDR wanted to tax 100% of income over $25,000.
“No American citizen ought to have a net income, after he has paid his taxes, of more than $25,000 a year.”
He wrote an Executive Order to that effect:

Congress challenged FDR but little by bringing his maximum tax bracket down to 94% during World War II and vastly increasing the national debt ten times to 112% the size of the economy:

For perspective, US Debt/GDP is currently 108% as we are supposed to be ending undeclared lost wars:

It took Ike, JFK, Reagan and Clinton-Gingrich to cut red tape, taxes and unleash the true productive power of American Freedom and Saving.
All four Administrations enjoyed full employment and prosperity with higher savings.
So why are we going down the same failed corporate debt government central planning slippery slope that led to Depression, crime and lower wages through illegal immigrants and World War?
Maybe too many voters believe and fall for the tired old central planning propaganda they read in the papers and see on Nightly News.
Maybe not.
Yesterday's RINO removal results in VA, the first election loss of a DC House Majority Leader since the position was created in 1899, even if fostered by Democrat cross-party voters in the Republican Primary, gave US hope for a better brighter future for all.
Meantime, 75% of voters who sat out dreary election choices between Tweedle Dumb and Twiddle Dreary, have some of the best Constitutional Independent Liberty candidates to elect since 1994.
Of course the corporate government death cult may be drumming propaganda nonsense into US 24/7 to stay in control.
"Education and Healthcare for All, Eliminate poverty and violence, End the Wars, Free Rides, Fight Terrorists, Save the Children, Tax the Rich. Two legs bad, four legs better":

Hmmm. Exactly how has that worked out for All Americans this time around?
So let's take our summer break to read or reread and know Max Weber's triumphant work, so we can put the failed central planners into retirement this fall and restore our American Economy:

Here's what We The People can do here now:
2014: It's time to work to elect Constitutional Independent Representatives not funded by special interests.
