New Poll On How Americans Really Feel About Immigration May Surprise Amnesty Supporters
Turns out, legislation that would increase immigration is unpopular among Democrats, Republicans and independents alike.
A recent Gallup poll shows that only 22% of Americans favor increased immigration to the United States. The poll also shows that 41% of Americans actually want to decrease immigration.
From Breitbart News:
Maybe the push for amnesty is not as popular with the American people as they think it is.
A recent Gallup poll shows that only 22% of Americans favor increased immigration to the United States. The poll also shows that 41% of Americans actually want to decrease immigration.
From Breitbart News:
The poll actually revealed a strong desire among Americans to decrease immigration, as 41% of respondents thought immigration should be decreased. This included 50% of GOP voters, 43% of independents, and 32% of Democrats. The percentage of those preferring to decrease immigration has jumped from 35% in 2012 and 2013 to 41% in 2014.This is in contrast to virtually the entire DC ruling class. which is so desperately pushing for amnesty for illegal aliens and laws that would incentivize more people to immigrate to the United States.
*
There has been a slow but steady growth since 1999, when 10% of voters supported immigration, as opposed to 22% in 2014. One explanation offered is that some business leaders favor it so that highly skilled foreign nationals can emigrate to the U.S. [...]

Significantly, although 63% of Americans view immigration positively in 2014, that number has dropped 9 percentage points since 2013, when it stood at 72%.
Maybe the push for amnesty is not as popular with the American people as they think it is.

You can't flood our country with millions of illegal immigrants with a weak economy and not enough jobs to go around, it sends us further into a welfare state . Maybe that's what Obama want?

I'm all for immigration as long as it's done properly and those that come here are going to be productive members of society. Oh and learn to speak English. If I were to move to Japan I would learn Japanese. Just seems like it should be common sense.

This is the reason Americans can't find work, they work cheaper and so they get the jobs

Obama does not listen or look at polls. This is a large part of his scheme to devalue America and cast it into a world community look alike. He does not want America to continue being a strong coveted country.

Obama has already proven in the last 6 years that what the American people want is no relevant to his agenda. Voting has consequences and the destruction of this great republic is what is on his agenda. The liberal retards are simply too stupid to see it.http://www.ijreview.com/2014/06/151762-new-gallup-poll-shows-americans-take-negative-view-immigration/
